As an organization linked to the Board of Multicultural Student Affairs (BMSA), the African-American Society wants to expand the platform for African-American students to all students of different ethnicities and nationalities to engage in thorough conversations about African-American history and modern day challenges for the African-American community. With the assistance of student programming through the BMSA, along with performances, fundraising events, and on-campus activities, the African-American society strives to create a safe, open-minded atmosphere to educate students on those who identify as Black, African-American, Afro-Latinx, and so forth. Members of this society are also encouraged to continuously uplift and motivate one another both academically and socially to ensure they are constantly maintaining their highest potential in all arenas.

The mission of “Afro-Caribbean Association” is to educate the PC community on issues, and cultures of people of the Caribbean community. We strive to encourage the understanding of different Caribbean cultures and foster a community united in our differences. We will do so by creating a safe space for the students of “Afro-Caribbean” descent to learn more about their culture and for others to come learn and ask questions. By doing this we hope to educate the overall “Friar Family” and continue to bridge gaps between all students.

Asian American Association is a cultural club at Providence College that is welcome to all students. This club seeks to educate the Providence College community about the diverse and rich traditions of various Asian cultures represented on campus. Our club’s goal is to spread awareness of Asian cultures, both socially and academically, and to create an environment where students feel welcome on campus. Some of our most recognized events include Maki-Your-Own-Sushi, Lunar New Year, and Taste of Asia!! (Be Educated Live with Inspiration and Evaluate Equity) works to educate the Providence College community about people with disabilities, inspire the community to engage with those who are different, and evaluate equity for people with physical, cognitive, developmental, and learning disabilities on the Providence College campus and beyond. To promote awareness and activist competency in the PC-Providence community on behalf of the faith-based priorities of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), focused on social justice in international development and humanitarian aid to combat climate change, poverty, and world hunger.

- Performing acts of service for the community is an amazing action. We hope to perform service for those in need through acts of charity, direct service, and prayer. Expanding with inclusivity for everyone, anyone can help people who are in most need. Through the aid of compassion, great fulfillment may be achieved.

- Being part of a passionate group of students, dedicated to actualizing values of social justice and Catholic Social Teaching in global systems.
- Training and direction from CRS itself on advocacy.
- Attendance at conferences hosted by CRS or related to CRS work.

The PC Ceramx (ceramics) Collective aims to create a safe space for students of all backgrounds on the PC campus, where all voices are heard and appreciated. We want to encourage students to explore the medium of ceramics, and the important role it can play in their lives. Our discussions will revolve around the contemporary and historical practices of ceramics, important social issues and their influence on our art, and how students can develop their voice in the art community, among other topics. Our student members will critically reflect on and improve their art, and will create a body of work that consists of independent, long-term projects and shorter, whole-group projects.

Engagement with other PC student artists or PC students with interest in studio art. This is especially helpful for students who want to explore studio art and/or ceramics for the first time.
